First Lincoln Invitational at NBC
A close finish in the girls Varsity race
On Saturday, April 18, the first-ever Lincoln Invitational Regatta was held at NBC. Given the cold spring we've been having, the unusually warm and sunny weather helped make the event a success. Joining the Lincoln School girls to race in fours on a 1500-meter course were Narragansett Boat Club juniors (boys and girls), Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS, boys and girls), Thayer Academy (boys and girls), and Marianapolis Preparatory School (boys and girls).
CRLS managed to take first place in each race, but NBC juniors and Lincoln girls were a close second and third in the girls' first varsity race. Complete results can be found on row2k.
